The Google Art Project

check this out...
you can tour international museums and galleries...
get super close ups of the artwork...and create your own collection to share with friends or...???

It uses the same mapping technology that we learned about last semester in a Wed. night lecture...
pretty amazing.

Here is a link to a short article about the color PINK...
in honor of our Foundations color...
written by David Byrne.
I bet there's a few things you didn't know about this fantastic color...
like it's history in Washington state...Tacoma (253!)...in correctional facilities.

and if you prefer other colors...
go here and search "colors" for other essays from Cabinet Magazine about an array of colors...
some you may have never heard of...
awesome.

AND...
speaking of Pink...
this book review happened to be in the New York Times...
about the possible effects this color...being heavily marketed to very young girls...may have on their development of identity and what that may say about our society...
interesting.

Welcome Back!!!

Welcome to Cluster 5: The Matrix
